Money may be tight a closing, but try to imagine moving in and finding out that the Air Conditioning is not capable of cooling the house; the basement floods in the rainy season, or the Electrical system is sub-standard.

Serious hidden defects can turn a new home into a “money pit” and seriously threaten a new home owner’s financial well being. You can avoid falling into the pit by including an “inspection contingency” in your purchase offer.
